Wykeham Gardens is run by Andy Mahy (BSc Hort) and Rachael Nitz-Mahy (ANCH Garden Design) from our home on the Malvern Hills and our Plant Centre in Leigh Sinton.

Andy Mahy started his career many years ago after completing his degree in Horticulture at Bath University. Throughout his career he has held jobs such as Landscape Manager for York Health Authority, Glasshouse Foreman and Head of Horticulture at Askham Bryan College. He has always been hands-on with all aspects of practical landscaping work as well as the teaching of others. As well as carrying out landscaping work and plant propagation for Wykeham Gardens he is also teaching on the RHS Masters Qualification.

Rachael Nitz-Mahy moved into horticulture 10 years ago after her life as an aerialist with Exponential Aerial Theatre, after completing the Advanced National Certificate in Horticulture and in Garden Design. She has designed many outdoor spaces and held the post of Horticulture Apprenticeship Course Manager at Askham Bryan College. For Wykeham Gardens she carries out the design work and is responsible for plant sales and plant propagation.

Wykeham Gardens started in 2012 when we moved to Malvern.
